"در هدفون‌هایم" آلبومی است تجربی كه در جریان آشفته‌ی جنبشی به نام "موسیقی زیرزمینی" به وجود آمده است. این آلبوم حاصل تجربه‌هایی است كه به خصوص در پنج سال اخیر وقت و فكر زیادی از من را به خود مشغول كرده بوده است؛ تجربه‌هایی مثل نوازندگی ، آهنگ‌سازی ، ترانه نویسی و استفاده از كلام فارسی ، خوانندگی ، اجرای موسیقی و در نهایت تنظیم ، ضبط ، پالایش و پرداخت صداها.

“In My Headphones” is an experimental album which has been created in the currents of a chaotic movement in my country called “Underground Music”. This album is the result of experiments which have had occupied much of my time and thought, especially in the recent 5 years; Experiments like playing the instruments, songwriting using the Farsi language, singing, music performance and at last composing, recording and processing sounds (music production).

گرچه در نهایت كار به پایان رساندن این مجموعه را به تنهایی و بعد از گذشتن از سرزمین عجایب اتاق خوابم انجام دادم ، ولی بدون شك درست كردن اين آلبوم بدون هم‌كاری و تمرین‌های گروهی‌مان با دوستانم نادی غریب نواز و بهرنگ عسگر زاده ممكن نبود. آدم‌های زیاد دیگری هم به طور مستقیم و غیرمستقیم در درست كردن این آلبوم به من كمك كرده‌اند كه من از همه‌ی آن‌ها ممنونم: پدرم و مادرم كه من را به این دنیا آوردند و بزرگم كردند؛ خواهران مقدس (گل‌بانو و گلشنك) كه در مهمانی‌های صمیمی و گرمشان برنامه‌هایی برای من ترتیب دادند؛ و تشكری ویژه از گل‌بانو مقدس كه با تصویر كردن صداهایی كه "در هدفون‌هایم" بود ، چهره‌ای قابل لمس و بی‌نظیر به آن‌ها بخشید.

Although in the end I finished up the album individually and after going through the wonderland of my bedroom, but no doubt making the album wouldn’t be possible without the co-operation and rehearsal sessions I had with my friends Nadi GharibNavaz and Behrang AsgarZadeh. Many other people have helped me directly and indirectly make this album as well, whom I thank them all : My father and my mother who brought me into this world and looked after me; Moghaddas sisters (Golbanoo & Golshanak) who set performances for me in their intimate cosy parties; and especial thanks to Golbanoo Moghaddas who gave an embodied and an extraordinary face to the sounds “In My Headphones”, by illustrating them.
